Picking Up the Trophies
October 11, 1973 - Mitch Giroux (left) of Capreol Mazzucas won the All-Star playoff trophy as the outstanding player in the Nickel. District Fastball League playoffs. Ed Gelinas of Levert Electric (right) was the top pitcher, top hitter, voted the all-star pitcher and also received an award for the first perfect game on OASA play downs. This is the first time the award has been made in Ontario |
