Joffre Desilets
Joffre Desilets, born in Capreol April 16, 1915, started his N.H.L. hockey career as a 20 year old right winger with the Montreal Canadiens in 1935, till the 1938 season. During this time, he played 118 games and scored 20 goals and 25 assists in regular seasons play. The playoffs with the Habs gave Joffre seven games to his credit along with one goal. The 1938 season brought Joffre to the Chicago Black Hawks where he finished his N.H.L. career in 1940 with 74 games, 17 goals and 20 assists. His five years as an N.H.L'er, earned him a total of 192 games, 37 goals and 45 assists. Joffre has also played with many minor leagues such as I.H.L., I.A.H.L., A.H.L., U.S.H.L. and the P.C.H.L.
